Internet Explorer 6 Optimierung?
Eigentlich hatte ich vor das aktuelle Layout nicht für den IE6 zu optimieren und ein minimales Alternativ-Stylesheet, mit schwarzem Text auf weißen Hintergrund dafür einzubinden, wie ich es bei Nina gemacht habe. In der Regel spart es jede Menge Frust und Ärger, die IE6 Optimierung zu überspringen, besonders weil ich nur auf Arbeit einen IE6 habe, wo ich ja eigentlich arbeiten sollte.
Ich hab mir eben trotzdem die Seite im IE6 angesehen, um mal zu schauen, was denn überhaupt zu tun wäre. Die Antwort kam überraschend. Gar nichts. Es sah genau so aus wie es sollte. Ganz ohne Browserhacks. Extra Stylesheet. Conditional Comments. Geht das denn überhaupt??
Bei Nina ging das nicht, hauptsächlich, wegen ihrer ganzen “Tapeten”, sich wiederholenden Mustern, wegen derer ich unmengen transparenter PNGs verwenden musste und auch wegen nicht unterstützter min-height CSS Attribute, sowie verschiedener anderer Methoden, um ihre Layout Vorstellungen zumindest in modernen Browsern halbwegs so hinzubekommen, wie sie sich das gedacht hat. Folge ist, dass das ganze im IE6 ne Katastrophe ist und ich schon bei der Vorstellung herauszufinden, woran das genau liegt, geschweige denn, wie man es behebt, Kopfschmerzen bekomme.
Hier musste ich nichts dergleichen machen. Es ist schon witzig, immer wenn man denkt man kennt diesen Browser, schafft er es einen zu überraschen. Meistens negativ. Diesmal überrascht er dadurch, dass er nicht negativ überrascht. Nette Abwechslung.
Ich hab mir natürlich überlegt, die Seite trotzdem schwarz auf weiß auszuliefern ;)
Ich lass das jetzt aber erstmal so. IE7 hab ich mir übrigens noch nicht angesehen. Mag das mal jemand für mich testen?

stimmt. weil ich den button mit hilfe von margins eindrücke. vielleicht sollt ich das doch über relative positionierung machen. oder es einfach bleiben lassen ^^
Aber im IE6 siehts gut aus, das is doch die Hauptsache ;-)
